Official Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

The Natural Perfumery Academy (“NPA”) is celebrating its 16th anniversary by hosting a Video Competition (the “Competition”). By participating in this Competition, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

• The Competition is open to all registered students of the Natural Perfumery Academy.
• Participants must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
• Employees of NPA, their family members, and anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter.

3. Competition Period

• The Competition will start on August 26th, 2024 at 12:01 AM (GMT) and will close on September 26th, 2024 at 11:59 PM (GMT).
• All entries must be received by the closing date and time. No entries will be accepted after this time.

4. How to Enter

• To enter the Competition, participants must:
  1. Be a registered student of the Natural Perfumery Academy.
  2. Create a video of no more than 2 minutes showcasing their work in perfumery (collecting materials, blending, extracting, bottling, etc.).
  3. Post the video as a reel on Facebook and/or Instagram, Tiktok, tag the official NPA account, and use the hashtag #NPA16thAnniversary.
• Enter as many times as you like.
• The video must be the original work of the participant and must not infringe on any third party’s rights.

5. Winner Selection

• The winner will be determined based on the number of “likes” received on their video by September 26th, 2024 at 11:59 PM (GMT).
• In the event of a tie, the NPA team will select the winner based on creativity, adherence to the theme, and overall presentation.
• The winner will be announced on October 1st, 2024 on the NPA website and social media platforms. 

6. Prizes

• The winner will receive:
  • 10g of Jasmine Grandiflorum Concrete
  • 10g of Tuberose Concrete
• The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
• NPA reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

7. Use of Entries

• By entering the Competition, participants grant NPA a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute the video content on its social media channels, website, and any other promotional materials without further compensation.
• Participants agree that their name and likeness may be used in NPA’s promotional materials in connection with the Competition.

8. General Conditions

• NPA reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
• NPA is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any participant by any third party connected with this competition.
• NPA will not be responsible for any claim, loss, injury, or damage arising out of or in connection with the Competition or any prize awarded.
• Any participant who attempts to manipulate or tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Competition or breaches these terms and conditions may be disqualified at NPA’s sole discretion.

9. Privacy

• Personal data provided by participants will be used in accordance with NPA’s privacy policy.

10. Governing Law

• The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of Your Country/State, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Your Country/State.
